The door in

WILLOW DOME, Merlin Park hospital.

I was asked to build a living willow dome.
The willow cut and planted in the winter will sprout and grow in the spring.
This structure provides an organic space and retreat.
Many people from the hospital enjoyed making this dome, and will continue to visit and weave back in the growing shoots, to provide a thicker and denser shelter.
Thanks to all who helped.

The people are getting theirland and livelyhood split in two. I can only imagine its difficult/ impossible to pop over the wall to check the goats.

HOLIDAYS

Being an artist is a way of life not to be fought or fashioned, but nurtured and tolerated.

NO CAMERA

I was working on a garden, cleaning gravel. A monotonous task except I the artist amused myself by making decorative chanels to let the water out of the driveway, where we were washing the soil out of the gravel. It didn't make the job any longer or use more water or anything like that, I don't know why I wished I had a camera with me.

I'm not sure its healthy

As my workspace becomes my bedroom, do my dreams become reality. Is it a matter of positive positive, luck or money. O for a studio large and tall I'll travel the world to find a place to stop and create for a while. Still I refuse to work in the factory or the system. If I get a holiday from my head will all become clear and paths open easily mapped out in continuity.
